we have seen this topi drama several times in the past. MQM decides to leave the government, then a lot of pressure is built on them to rejoin. MQM leadership loves power so much that they can't stay away from the government for too long.

sometimes, Zardari's policy of 'mufaahimat' turns into policy of 'muzaahimat'. :D

**MQM refuses to join Sindh govt; PPP denies extending invitation

KARACHI: As the leadership of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) and Pakistan People’s Party meet in Dubai, conflicting reports have emerged regarding the invitation to join the Sindh government.

An MQM spokesman announced that the party had declined an invitation to join the Sindh government, adding that the meeting with PPP was part of the democratic process.

Meanwhile, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon denied this claim and said that the PPP had not extended any invitation to the MQM of joining the provincial government. “The meeting is being held at the behest of the MQM. No invitation to join the provincial government has been made.”

Prior to the meeting, sources said that the PPP would invite the MQM to join the Sindh government.

Senior leaders of the MQM have gathered in Dubai to hold consultations and are meeting with PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, Faryal Talpur and Rehman Malik. The MQM delegation was comprised of Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad, Khalid Maqbool, Babar Ghauri and Nadeem Nusrat.

Dubai meeting was arranged on the request of MQM. there is no invitation for joining the sindh government.
