MQM according to a foreign published newspaper MQM has announced the establishment of two industrial zones and a big industrial park in Karachi. Can any one confirm that these Industrial Zones and Parks are not exclusively for followers of UK nationality holder Altaf Bhai and that these would be free from weekly or monthly “Bhutta” so that I may also think of coming back to Karachi and open a small business there. Earlier I had shifted my long established power looms business from Korgani area to Multan due to these burden of “Bhutta”. By the way since when political particularly ethnic based parties have taken government job of creating industrial zones etc.

After difficultly reading your post, Salman11: MQM really has done a major job in shifting businesses away from Karachi. "bhatta" used to be PPP's symbol/weapon, I don't recall Jamaatis doing that, if MQM is also doing it then what is the difference b/w MQM and other parties: ZERO. Almost all industrialists know MQM's traits, why would the big shots move to an industrial zone created by a political party? It should be done thru government agencies so it has some legitimacy.
Just like all other parties, I wish MQM could be dissolved and people be reprieved of the zaalims.

Manphut…What do you think about 15 million population with hundreds and thousands of businesses in Karachi? Were you the only one who was taxed by MQM…what about the rest? Are they not living in Karachi?
It was a time when every one said, Jamat-i-Islami is CIA agent and they get paid by the Americans. Jeye Sindh was always labelled anti-Pakistani and involved in kidnapping, ransom and other mal-practices.
If you oppose some one, be brave and bring solid points and logic instead of cowardly excuses.
Think last 14 years after June 1992, when Pakistani military launched operation against MQM. In all those 14 years, MQM has gone up and not down. People of Karachi have the highest percentage of education and awareness in Pakistan. If that was the case with MQM, the people would not be electing over 80 members in Provincial, Federal assemblies and Senate!

THEREALDEAL…When I said," malign" I did not mean that MQM needs appreciation by outsiders or cares people what they say about MQM…MQM has mass support of people in Karachi and other parts of Sindh so really they don’t care side-kicks. The Urdu speaking population of Sindh (Mohajirs) have enough support for Mr. Altaf Hussain so he really doesn’t care about other population! Kar lo jo karna hai!
Secondly, tell me which party in Pakistan is sitting in the mosque and doing Allah Allah day and night?
