MQM does not control law enforcement agencies like police. Because these agencies are controlled by home minister. Blame MQM when the home minister belongs to it.
Just being a part of a larger coalition does not mean that the party is responsible for everything that the senior partner does.

and that same police force is highly politicized, police is given promotions not on merit basis, but due to political reasons, and these politicals parties come to criminals rescue, get them released. no wonder why the conviction rate is so low in Karachi!
De-politicisation of Karachi police is the only effective way to ensure peace in Karachi.
