The MQM chief’s latest novelty — arming traders to counter increasing extortion — is extremely disturbing, especially considering its or-else nature, giving government agencies four days before a hundred thousand strong (and armed, certainly) party workforce is assigned vigilante protection duties.

what they did not mention is , Traders will have to bear the expenses …!! … of such vigilante protection posting .

sort of full fledged Protection Mafia thingum .

Very dangerous, this will basically divide business community along ethnic lines, then we will have Pathan business areas, Mohajir business areas, Sindhi business areas etc etc.
