What effect will it have on Karachi politics now?
How much support does he enjoy in the city? Will he be able to break away some of Altaf group members?

nothing gonna happen. there will be no impact on Karachi or landi kotal politics.

That's the only reason why people like Imran and Mirza have been supporting Afaq.
His return will have no positive impact on Karachi politics whatsoever. Only thing that could have happen is that he will work with Mirza and his Lyari gangs to fight against Altaf's Muttahida.
He is the same guy who was once supporting extremist outfits like Sipahe Sahaba in killings.

Altaf is settled in London while Dubai is occupied by the don himself. I think he will station in Hong Kong to lead the nation towards a revolution

His crimes can not be proven. Just like Altaf's or Mirza's or Zardari's can not be proven.
He was in jail due to politics, obviously. And I am actually happy that he is out. I am only afraid of another round of killings in the city.

Well, I personally think in this age of free media and press, the killing spree of 90s wont happen, IA.
I actually think that the ethnic politics is vanishing in Pakistan ... slowly but surely.
So it might even be a good thing that he is released, especially if he starts talking about people of Karachi beyond boundaries of ethnicity, as he did in his first press conference.

haha! Altaf's crimes cannt be proven? What about the Supreme Court of Pakistan (the highest court in the country) convicting him of murder? LOL Unproven!
