I think this is a good initiative and should be appreciated as if sense prevails we could finally see peace in Karachi after so many years.

This is the first step, I hope the political parties can build upon it. Cities cannot be won over by violence, and I hope MQM has got the message that their credibility has been damaged a lot during the past 5 years, otherwise maybe their strongholds could have increased but their image has kept people away. Let’s see if they can change their image in the future.

This is all Topi Drama .... Both parties have terrorist wings ... MQM is harping about spreading love among pakhtooN just for one reason ... To encounter the terrorist alliance of ANP and PAC - which is resulting in killing of MQM activist every day - thus they are creating the hazara wall force - just a move to cut ANP force , in pakhtoon dominating areas .

where ANP with combined forces ( PAC and other unlabeled terrorist groups ) is also busy killing innocent people , people who belong to different race and speak different language .

Majority of bank robberies , mobile and car snatching are done by ANP and PAC thesedays

I hope its not just a drama and they are really sincere in getting rid of the violence.(though, i really doubt their intentions)
just today, bullet riddled bodies were found in dummy bags!

BTW, ANP says they dont have any extremist wing :bummer:

Can you prove that?

The MQM ar responsible for most of the mess in Karachi. They have a whole history of it. They are the onyl group who have fought against all the other ethnicities within Karachi.

My sister has friends in karachi and now her uncle and relatives in the business district of karachi are given white notes (paper) where you have demands of 50 lakhs etc to be hand to the aman committee. He decided not to pay the ransom and was in the plans of leaving the city when he was in an "accident". Another note was received courtesy of the aman committee that they knew that he wasn't going to pay them, so next time it wouldn't be an "accident" but a coffin that would be coming home.

Perhaps, this is an azaab on the people of Pakistan so that a revolution happens or some other major change so the current parasites don't come back to power.

Yes I agree that MQM is also responsible for mess karachi is in thesedays !

for the proof thing - search for recent Bank robberies , snatching - CCTV footage - and you can establish the same on your own ... I wish CPLC had them on their website - so every one can watch and pin point these criminals ..

Sarcasm, no at all my friend – when I say MQM is equally responsible for this mess , I really mean it . They are as much as responsible as Zulfiqar Mirza and others who have lashed these PAC devils upon innocent karachittes .

Thesedays Innocent inhabitants of Karachi city are paying for the negligence committed by them during the days they had the interior ministry. Keeping the political differences aside they should have killed the parasites , who have now become insane hunters , right at the start .

MQM was literally in fools’ paradise thinking that PAC and other terrorist wings will only operate in non dominate MQM areas and wont cause any harm to MQM vote bank .

And I am not talking about killing of MQM workers – which is happening every day – sorry to say but as a party MQM has no balls to stand up against this atrocity-

I am talking about incidents where innocent travellers are hand picked from public transports after checking their National ID cards , i mean c’mon , how could you tell that a fella with the name Muhammad Shahid is Urdu speaking or Punjabi speaking , People from other ethnicities born and bred in Karachi , speak as much as good urdu like urdu speaking people .

I am talking about incidents , where bomb cracks are fired at shops and other business entities , who refused to pay ‘’ Bhatta ‘’ to these goons .

I am talking about incidents – where armed Baloch and Makrani terrorists are freely roaming in dominant urdu speaking areas , conducting their ill acts and Neither Law enforcement agencies nor MQM workers have balls to stop them .

In Musharraf era ,MQM had a chance to sort this all , but I guess their missionary killer mentality didn’t let them overcome these troubles and they only end up stocking the ammunition- which is certainly of no use thesedays !

If a government cant protect its people , it has no right to remain in power , same goes to MQM , if they cant protect their vote bank ...

and yet - when they get caught - these so called political parties come to their rescue :)

There are many independent terrorist wings working in this city and one day if they are doing a task for party A , the very next day they do another for party B ..

so in a sense they dont have terrorist wings but they aren't shorts of hands either - when needed :)
