i want to buy portable cd+mp3 players… any suggestion on which brand is better?..

p.s is it better to buy mp3 player separately.. or is it okay to get cd+mp3 player instead?

Aiwa, Sony, Panasonic, Creative Labs. I guess all the well known brand names, you can't go wrong with. As for whether you should get a CD+mp3 or just an mp3, it depends on what you're looking for in terms of size. An mp3 player alone is very, very small, however, a CD+mp3 will be larger, but you'll be able to play your CD's as well as MP3's burnt on CD.

The undisputed king/queen of MP3 must be the APPLE IPOD. It comes in 5GB, 10GB, and 20GB. The 5GB holds 1000 songs, and the 20GB holds a crazy 4,000. Ive seen the old Mac-only version from my friend and it was great. They now got the PC version out, so it should be good.

The 5GB one runs for abt 299, (460ish cdn)

If you want something a bit cheaper, go for the Creative Labs NOMAD MuVo 128MB..about 170USD i think.

What do u want to buy?
I mean do u want a CD+MP3 player or a MP3 player alone.
CD+MP3 means that its basiclly a CD player that can play MP3 songs burnt on CD, whereas an MP3 player plays MP3 format song in it.
I wud buy a MP3 player since i don't have no burner but whenever i step into a store to buy it, ching ching is the voice that scares me away :D
