Mp3 Players?

Hi,
I want to buy iPod or other similar portable mp3 players, can anybody tell me from where in Pakistan I buy such item..I just visit the karachi markets yesterday, and found that here only cheap Zoltrix flash mp3 players available…no good one :frowning: like Creative Zen Touch, iPod etc..

FLash players are cheap. The iPod, iRiver, Rio etc have hard drives thus cost more.

I had 2 iPods over a 1 and half year period. One died of a bad battery the other iPods batterie started toleak. I recently bought a 20 gigs DJ which can holds around 3700 songs. I’m very satisfied and I’d reccomend it to anyone. :k:k:k:k

Here are a few pics:

Here it is with a flash player (right) that I use only to go to the gym or run.

Sorry man, I don't know where you'd buy one in Pakistan. You could always ask a big name electronic store if they can order you one or pay a friend to send you one from there. Goodluck kid!

They run around $300-400 for 15-20gigs in USA.

ao sami, u dont recommend ipods? and how much does the DJ thing cost in US?

Yes, I know Creative Zen Touch cost is $269, Iriver iHP20 20GB with integrated Fm cost is $280 and I am ready to pay such price but can't find a store or shop in khi which have these players :( also if I buy them from ebay or other online shopping sites, our customs will add 55% duties on it, which I can't afford :(

UK = rip off central

i still have a cassette player

This is what I'm using these days: Archos AV380:

It comes with 80 gb hard drive and can play audio (mp3), video, pictures and store other data files.
Connects with a USB 2.0 connection and you can record TV shows just like a DVR. I also sprung for the FM attachment which not only allows you to listen to FM stereo but if you like a song you can record it as well. Its doing wonders for my entertainment.

nice!
but completely off topic.

and xelite , dude, you gotta stop using this :( smiley. btw if you can't find mp3 players, i would recommend that you buy minidisc player instead (if available in karachi that is). Its much cheaper and battery life is usually longer. Copying songs on the discs is a bit more time consuming than mp3 players but its certainly worth the price that ur gonna pay for it.

I second this. I have an MD player aswell for 3 years now, and I use to run workout, and it works just prime, and looks brand new :)

I have philips hd60. Bought it for 2000 norwegian krones.
It has 1.5 gb space and can act as a portable hard disk as well.
I would recommend one because it can also play wma format besides mp3

ip()d rules

I have a iRiver 350 MP3 disc player with FN Tuner runs about $ 130 to $150 here in the US....you might want to consider a disc MP3 player cause you can get an MP3 CD in karachi for about 25 rupees so it would be a lot cheaper for you!!
