So here is the thing. I have been traveling 50 mins to go to work. Against the traffic. Finally My friend moved to a town which is on the way to my work and about 20 mis away from work.
One of the prettiest neighborhood in here.
I was looking for an apartment to rent in that same town too. Since its closer to work, the one I found is a huge split level house.
An old lady owns it. She has rented out most of the levels(4 of them) to women. Well to girls.
She is willing to give this one room and attached living type area to me.
But kitchen would be shared. I guess the only reason she is letting me in is her son moved out and she wants a dude. Thinking I can help her around the house.
After looking at the chicks there I told her I am handy man too. I intact fixed side door(put closer spring for her.)
Now Its 200$ more but I will save that on highway tool + gas.
Now part of me is happy to be around such pretty women. They were wearing shorts and its not even hot yet(how totally cool is that??).
And part of me is extremely happy.
But a part of me is thinking that guy got to scratch once in a while too u know..
would it get uncomfortable?? I know my apartment is kind of separate but still in kitchen and walking around the house. hmmmm so I am thinking. hmmm
I know for sure I am going to move there But I am thinking still.
She is one sweet woman I stayed there for about an hr It felt like home. You know .. Like family.

PM...I dont think its a good idea...you wont have the kind of privacy you need. I have lived away from home before and even room mates bothered me so I never had any. It might be fun but trust me...the novelty of it dies after a while.
lol - PM - since you mentioned you could be around and be a handy man too - so why not negotiate your $200 more to $300 LESS!!!
They will need you to move the furniture around, fix that kitchen faucet, get things from top shelve of the cabinate - so make them pay for it to - but gently

And ppl The thing which is bothering me most is that I live is sardar neighborhood. I mean how often you see Indian girls summer dressing?? So Ideally I would want to move there after summer. But what if that place is gone?
PM, the place really does sound ideal (but you actually should talk to the old lady about a reduction in rent, let her decide by how much depending on the amount of work you do for her) but anyway...you have your own separate living area right? If things get too tempting in the shared kitchen area while the girls are around then just stay in your own living area till the gals are done in the kitchen. Take a cool shower, chat with your friends, post on GS. Then go to the kitchen when the gals are done.

I found the deeper reason.Few years ago my rommie moved out and a chick called to rent out the next door room. With out ASKING ME my land lady said.
