what are the gas prices like in pakistan/karachi these days???

its 49/ ltr for reg and sumwhere around 50 for premium … but who says u need gassoline ?? go for the cheaper option … CNG . it costs a 1.25 a Km for a 1000 CC car

and i definitely appreciate ur decision to settle in pakistan … Pakistan is not as bad as it is reported to u by the desis uve met believe me … theek hai … yahaan bhi problems hein … but kya US me koi problem nahee hai ?? kya whaan corruption nahee hotee ?? kya wahaan choree / daka murder / rape / kidnappiung nahee hotee …
Pakistan is better … we need our people back … its us who should work to make a difference

I would strongly suggest don’t burn all boats when you move back home. Try taking vacation for a year or two (w/o pay ofcourse) and once you have settled there then resign.

aside from rent/car/bangla etc…do hire some security guards or join some gang before u move there

if u want an appartment … u dont need personak security guards good appartments have a very organised security
