My husband, 2 kids and I may possibly be moving to Irvine next year. We’re currently in Los Angeles right now, by Santa Monica. We like it here and might stay here. But honestly we’re ready to settle in a suburban area that has a good school district. We’ve lived in urban big cities for the past 6 and a half years. (Chicago, NYC, LA) So Irvine seems like a good option. Does anyone live out there and love it or are there good neighborhoods to live in? I’ve found a few condos that are 7 miles up from the beach and that seems like a good area.
Sometimes i worry that I may get bored in Irvine if it’s too suburban. But it sounds like it’s an active community with many things to do. Since my husband will work and commute to Anaheim, I looked at condos in Anaheim, Santa Ana and Orange. But we decided that Irvine is probably the best place. Anyone have recommendations?
