well that not totally true !!
there are well established guy's in Pakistan - that wont even think of moving out - even if they are married to green card holder.

i once believed in unicorns and santa clause, and fairy tales and dragons etc. but none of them, including the creatures you are talking about exist.
trust me, i spent a good amount of time looking for them.

i do know personally a couple of friends - who's wives have UK nationality - but still one is doing Job in saudia and other has his own business in Pak..

I know a couple. One from US and other from UK. Both are happy but the catch is that they knew the guys before and it was not the case of going to Pakistan and searching for a guy. I suspect they would be happy with those guys where ever they live.
It might be risky if you don't know the guy.

knew a girl. went back to pak to live with her khala for a few months. came back married. so yeah, people do that.

She came back? Means not living in pakistan? Means her hubby coming here too?
she's sponsoring him. but while the process is taking place, she's living with him in pak. she produced a baby meanwhile, in canada.

The place is not as important as the person.
It also depends on the person, if they want to be happy together, they will be.
Living abroad doesnt guarantee happiness

its gonna be really easy to find rishtas for you in pakistan.... the only catch is, how to differentiate between the ones that are shareef and sincerely marrying you for you and not for your green card etc...
i was only an immigrant and didnt even have citizenship .. yet the rishtas came in truckloads.... left in truckloads too once told i wil be living in pakistan and not be taking their ladlas to the land of unicorns, ponies and oppurtunity
but its not impossible.....

you are wrong here....i personally know of many guys (friends of my husband etc) who are very happy in pakistan and wouldnt want to move to uk etc...

I agree with Khawa. People who are greedy and want to marry for nationalities , money etc will back off if they realize that they won't be getting the nationality etc.
My own ex susraal and BIL backed off from a rishta after everything was finalized when the girl very honestly spoke up about her intentions. I used to serve them as guests when the rishta process was going on and I saw from my own eyes how badly they wanted the rishta but everything changed after she spoke up.
