Movies: Kids&Family

a few of my favs

Jumanji- about a magicel board game which brings to life all of it’s consequences. I’ve forgot how many times I watched it but whenever USA, TBS or TNT show it I still watch the whole movie. The best dice role would be when the stampede of wild animals breaks into the city and when a hunter emerges to take down Robin Williams.

Jingle All The Way- A’nold tries to buy this super cool action figure for his son on the day before Christimas. But the problem is that the toy is very rare. It’s the best holiday movie, IMO.

The Grinch- Though the whole Christmas thing was over exagerated but Jim Carey was at his best and of course that cute little girl, Cindy-Lou. She was a sweet pie.

Home Alone- I only liked the first part of this trilogy. Innovative, fresh and pure fun. In one scene one of the two crooks gets hit by a case full of books, comes in walking all bruised with an open book on his head and the other crook says, “you got hit by a book?” the first one replies, “BOOKS, PLURAL, a case filled with books.”:hehe: And of course they’re method of burglary. After hitting the house one of’em opens the water in the sink and calls it his signature.

From Disney’s it would be
The Lion King- OMG, I think I know all of the dialogues of this movie by heart. Those three hyenas were really hilarous, “We could have whatever’s LION around”. :hehe: And of course that stampede sequence in which Mufasa dies was really emotional.

Finding Nemo- I think after Lion King this a true classic.

Home alone :crying:

I watch it every year

The part I like the best was towards the end, when the crooks fall into a frozen swimming pool, and the police arrives.

The crooks are lying in ice, spread-eagled, and shivering, when the cop calls out “Freeze!”.

The crook replies “you must be kiddin’!!!”

home alone 1 and 2 were wicked. 3 is totally different cos it has different characters. it just doesnt go with the flow.
