--khuda ke liye is a good movie--but my professor wants a hollywood movie.
I dont have to show the movie to the class -- i just have to watch it and critique on it using the principles we learned in class...
i think the departed sounds best -- i heard a lot about it and i really wanna watch it. i watched shawshank redemption ---> a while ago but like its sooo dryyy lol. i am totally interested in these other indie movies -- la haine or the green line so im gonna totally rent these movies and watch them---i have a bit before my project is due ---> so definitely movie night every night :) :) gonna go warm up some popcorn

i watched khuda ke liye ---> AND I LOVED IT --- its definitely a movie pakistan needed=== consdiering our lovely lollywood industry and heir not so attractive movies...and i wouldnt recommend watching it on the computer --- they did a really good job, and its really real and interesting.

speaking of BBC, you can also check Road To Guntanamo, it was aired in UK on channel 4 last year, DVDs are prolly available online tho havent seen it anywhere in blockbuster or hollywood video

also watch murder in teh first with Kevin Bacon, its about the torture at alcatraz. based on a real story i believe, which eventually led to the closing of alcatraz

another good one is sleepers, with brad pitt and jason patrick, ist about juvenile detention center whetre the guards torture and assult these kids. and then the kids growing up and getting even in courts..amazing movie.

lol bbc channel 4! channel 4 is not run by bbc. there is now a digital bbc4 but thats not a major channel.
channel 4 is an independent channel, more closely linked to itv (which is channel 3)
karachi cops was made for channel 4. it was run for a whole series or two of half hour documentaries following cops around their daily routine in karachi. but iirc it was aired over 10 years ago. archive stuff now
