Today was the first time I ever saw a movie shooting. I went to lunch and when I went to the food court of my office building, I realized people were leaning over and looking in the atrium. I asked someone what was going on and he told me they are shooting for a film.
I went to the balcony and ate my lunch. Then I stood up and watched the shooting. The actor and the actress were fighting and they were arguing as they were walking out of **our office building. **Then the girl was supposed to get in a towncar and leave. The guy is just standing there.
The guy = Rob Lowe
Actress = Unknown as I didn’t have my glasses on and couldn’t see who it was.
Another actor = Christopher Lloyd (I am sure a lot of people know him)
It was a fun experience and I watched them do the same scene many times because sometimes they were doing something wrong and other times they just wanted to do it again so they could choose the best one for the film.
A few things about the movie that were fake:
Taxis said “NYC” when they were actually in New Orleans.
It was 90 degrees outside but everyone was wearing fur coats and leather jackets.
They had Christmas tree and Christmas setting in the building
The city bus had been modified and represented NY.
Steam was coming off of ground as if it’s really really cold.
The name of the movie was A perfect day but that might change. So if you see Rob Lowe and a girl arguing in a movie, they come out of the building, the girl sits in the car (subway in the background) and leaves, Rob yells “I was at work” and then to Christopher “Who are you?”, it was shot in New Orleans.
Now you may continue doing whatever you were doing.
Sheen Tumhe julia ney ghaas nahi daali hogi, issliye you didn’t open a thread Before you say anything, I din’t want Rob Lowe to talk to me and I don’t know who the girl was, that’s why I didn’t talk to her. Mein chotey logon ko lift nahi karata
Oh my goodness you were on your way to lunch when you stumbled upon a movie shooting that was at **your office building **and then you heard them say two lines while wearing phony jackets…all for a crappy 2-star movie production!! How EXCITING!!!
