**DreamWorks Animation** has begun assembling a great voice cast for **'Rise of the Guardians,'**](http://www.filmschoolrejects.com/news/rise-of-the-guardians-cast.php) which is a CGI animated adaptation of the kids book 'The Guardians of Childhood'](http://www.filmschoolrejects.com/news/rise-of-the-guardians-cast.php) and not a sequel to Zack Snyder's 'Legend of the Guardians. **Alec Baldwin**, **Hugh Jackman**, **Isla Fisher** and **Chris Pine** will be leading the film, which was written by 'Rabbit Hole' screenwriter David Lindsay-Abaire. -
**Mark Heyman**, one of the screenwriters of 'Black Swan,' will next pen **'Age of Rage,'** [a post-apocalyptic movie](http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/blogs/heat-vision/black-swan-scribe-tapped-write-76326) about a world in which the adults have died of titled. Marc Webb is set to direct. -
Take this with a nice, big grain of salt, but according to a tipster over at [UK's Sky](http://movies.sky.com/exclusive-prometheus-plot-reveal-aliens-are-in-it), **Ridley Scott's 'Prometheus'** will still directly involve the xenomorphs of the **'Alien'** series and will see mankind trying to find their home world. -
**Jay-Z** [has joined Will Smith](http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118030953) as a producer on the Willow Smith-starring remake of the musical **'Annie.'**
