I have had a thread moved from the General forum titled “Shiite Muslims” I also received a PM from one of the Mods along the lines of:
Where has it been moved exactly? The New Forum appears to be invisible, which is great if it is a show of technological achievement but I can’t imagine it’s the easiest for browsing.

It was moved to review Folder. Since you have no access to the forum thats why you dont get to see the name or link to it. (I have to admit) this is not a very user friendly way of notifying. But the system is still being fine tuned.

Hi Xtreme. Great to have you back :) Your thread was moved because complaints were received from shia members who took offense at the deliberate digs and play of words. If I were a shia I wouldn't have been pleased either. The question that ur thread posed was answered by the members that participated in the thread. Despite the fact that u urged shias to answer you directly none of the shias of this message board (with mayyybe one or two exceptions) took the bait and opted to stayed out, they did however complain which is why the thread was removed.

Hi Femme and thank you for your welcome. I apologise if the term Shiite caused offence, but this isn’t my word, it is a term frequently used at the highest level of both the British media and recently by a senior member of Gupshup. Shiite muslims is a common term in the British terms as opposed to Sunnite. Why? Your guess is as good as mine.
As for rising to the ‘bait’ who are you kidding? This is a case of shooting the messenger. If the term Shiite muslims is a problem, why not grow a backbone and address the source? You can thank me later for bringing this to your attention!

See the difference in terms between Sunni muslims and Shiite muslims? Do I write these reports My shia brothers? Or Shiite if you prefer?
