Interesting article I read in the newspaper yesterday. Apparently 2013 is going to be the year of Luigi.
*As he turns 30, Nintendo has earmarked 2013 as ‘The Year of Luigi’ and plans to thrust him into the limelight, shoving his shorter and fatter (why does Mario get all the attention from princesses again?) brother out of the way. For a while, at least. To kick off the celebration, this week sees the release of Luigi’s Mansion 2 on Nintendo 3DS. A sequel to 2001’s Luigi’s Mansion on the GameCube, it sees Luigi battle ghosts once again in a bid to rescue his brother. Effectively, Mario is the princess.
