Re: move back to pakistan for study
im currently doing my MBBS in karachi. I went back from Canada to study there. Almost done my first year now. I personally think its great to study there...you might not get as many resources/facilities available to you in the uni/college over there...but the actually learning experience...the books...the parhayee...i think its awesome. especially in 3rd year when u get ur ward experience...i've heard from people its very satisfying n some things ur gonna see in pakistani hospitals which u wont even see in america...lol! also...the college life is awesome!! studnts here study like full time have no life!! they sit in there uni library 24/7 n study study study...especially med students.. over there its both...u get fun...AND parhayee! even if u want to work in the US or canada after... u can still do ur MBBS there n come here right the exam n stuff...its not hard...trust me... stats say...people from my college who got position n got 90 above n went back to america to rite the USMLE..etc...they also got a 90% in there!! so...u can guess now...!! its pretty cool!
we have a LOTTTTTTTTT of foreigners in our college..lotsa ppl come from US/Canada....! my friends in 3 rd year they all came back in the vacations for 2 months n did their electives here....at hospitals..!! its a good experience....they actually recognize our college accept us as med. students n let us work...!! n u shud alwayz do electives where ur planning on working....ALWAYZ! its good to put in ur resume n stuff...same thing bout the residency.
