Did you know Amritsar, Jallandar and other cities had huge muslim population prior to partition? Punjabi muslims suffered heavliy due to partition- there were trains full of dead bodies reaching Lahore from across the border almost everyday- full of mutilated dead bodies. How can one be so cruel? I still fail to understand why muslim punjabis were targeted in entire punjab by Sikhs and Hindus in 1947 when no one harmed them?

Did you know Amritsar, Jallandar and other cities had huge muslim population prior to partition? Punjabi muslims suffered heavliy due to partition- there were trains full of dead bodies reaching Lahore from across the border almost everyday- full of mutilated dead bodies. How can one be so cruel? I still fail to understand why muslim punjabis were targeted in entire punjab by Sikhs and Hindus in 1947 when no one harmed them?

1947 has some truth but gadar is based on pure lies- the trains full of dead bodies started coming from east punjab to west punjab first.

Of course, if it is a bollywood movie then it will have an indian bias. I remember a movie called “Train to Pakistan” by khushwant singh? from the local library and it was very one-sided with muslims killing sikhs and sikhs being nice. One of the sikhs, who was having an affair with a muslim punjaban, is shown to go against his comrades and fight off sikhs so they couldn not set up their rope. I read that the rope was very common to tie ropes and pull people down riding on top of train. Supposedly, Pakistan also had a border security force in 1947.

here is the link for you which shows communal distribution of punjab population by districts, only gurdaspur which is muslim majority came to india, where as amritsar and jallandhar are non-muslim majority
