i don't think moulin rouge was worth watching in a theatre, or worth watching for that matter. i would rather
spend my $9.50 on renting 'train spotting'
and 'clerks'
After watching "Swordfish" me and my friend entered "Moulin Rouge" just to get an idea if the movie is worth spending the $8.75, and the verdict was a resounding "no".

If you like costume musicals with loud songs and elaborate dance sequences, and overly madeup Nicole Kidman and a fat man with wig, then this is your baby. It has some good costumes a la Vegas style shows. Probably some folks will enjoy it. I am not one of those.

well i loved moulin rouge. that movie was top of the tops. and i loved - absolutely loved - how they twisted allll those songs. i was very impressed at that.
i mean, you try turning nirvana to sound like a classic tune.

Well, YOU liked the movie... that we got in the first post. And thats fine. No one else here liked it. So? You gonna bang everyone in the head making them like it? Jeez! get a life :)
