Motorola V3 help

I bought a Motorola V3 razor about three or four days ago.. and everything was fine…until today when it kept flashing battery low, and when I went to plug the charger in, it didnt say CHARGING.. i figured there was something wrong with the extension, so by the time I plugged it into the outlet, the battery already died and the phone turned off. I kept trying to turn it back on, and it kept shutting off, but there was no sign of the phone charging. After several tries, it completely stopped even turning on, and the lines along the numbers and stuff kept flashing blue… I called customer service and they said its a faulty battery… I need to get a new one.

Now my question is… since its less than a week… I could get another one free…right? Buyers remorse or whatever?

Has anyone else had such a problem with this stupid phone?? :frusty:

Re: Motorola V3 help

The battery is too old.return and ask for a replacement. It should be covered under implied warranty

Re: Motorola V3 help

yes it has happened to me as well. the lamers sold me a refurbished/repackaged V3 thinking they could get away with it. i walked in the dealership the next day and gave them a piece of my mind. they excahnged the whole fone, not just the battery. they gave me a brand new one, same model and threw in a few other goodies.

my advice to you, demand to get the whole phone exchanged, not just the battery. it could very well be a repackaged phone that they are trying to sell to you as new

Re: Motorola V3 help

Its a common prob with Motorola V3 has nothing to do with old battery. Motorola sucks big time so do their mobiles. I just wonder how they made any success in this branch. THey failed to develope good performing cable modems and they failed to deliver solid mobile phone as well.

They had merely success with mircochips. Thats It.

Re: Motorola V3 help

All the Motororla phones I had, always had weak batteries, never survived long, even brand new ones. Phones are nice, but batteries are not.

Nokia is best when comes to battery life.

Re: Motorola V3 help

motorola as a company is pretty good
with phones, tho, they tend to release the phones with out finishing up the finer tweaks n stuff.
the Moto-Q for instance.. a brilliant phone. but the first one was absolutly not worth the $500 something dollars companys wanted for it. the newer model, Q9C tho, with the longer battery life and other features that are yet to be unlocked for the Q.

Re: Motorola V3 help
