Agreed. They cannot ask that question. Only 2.2 million Pakistanis pay their taxes and most of them are salaried individuals who have no option but to get taxes deducted.
And then we ask, what has Pakistan to offer?
and that is what brings the point, 2.2 million pakistanis pay taxesm out of how many?
yet we can question the patriotism of others, as if being born in pakistan makes someone autimatically patriotic.
actions speak louder than words, and one of teh basic things you do is pay taxes, it funds everything from education, health, infrastructure to defence (and seeing how much we just hate india and indians to be proud pakistanis..thats kinda stealing from the nation is it not)
as I say, actions speak louder than words. on this proud pakistani scale, I put Pakistanis in Pakistan who dont pay taxes at a lower rung than expats who are involved in political lobby groups and trade promotion groups, awareness organizations etc. They are doign something above and beyond what someone is asked to do, while the tax cheats are not even meeting their basic obligations to the nation and state.
