Has anyone tried the motion sickness wrist bands here? How did you find them? Does anyone else find them a bit uncomfortable?
I couldn’t find an older thread on this topic, but I remember there were a few other guppies particularly Qrius that complained of car sickness as well. I would recommend the wrist bands; I finally got around to getting a pair and it works.
Maddy, I'm not too sure how it works. But the bands have a magnetic button each that is supposed to be placed on these pressure points on both your wrists (the point is approximately three fingers' width down from the bottom edge of your palm, between the two central tendons).
The only thing is that if I'm out and about and have them on all day; the point where the button presses becomes very tender. Perhaps I should remember to take them off once out of the car and then put them on again when back.
if they work let me know, b/c i have severe motion sickness...up till now i pretty much deal with it, except for flight's i take dramamine b/c can't really risk throwing up there...
hayaa, after seeing your thread..i went and researched a bit on the product market virtually. I found some really neat products including patches and wrist bands and also watch style bands. Shahreen is right as well..coz the watch style bands not only works for car sickness, sea sickness, plane sickness..but also for morning sickness and also helps people who are going through chemotherapy sessions. So far, i haven't used any of those products..but thanks hayaa for starting the topic. Now i might buy one :)
i used to wear em wheneva i had to go to new york o sumfin n i think i also put em on when i went to canada..not sure..
but yea, they work, atleast it helped me atleast :)
