For 9 monthly cycles, I was a temporary resident,
Nuff love and sentiments brought life to my ligaments,
Don’t test the special request to all baby mothers,
Looking after their babies, youths, and, youngsters,
This jobs not easy peasy it’s hard,
Nuff love to my mother chilling in yard,
With my father, who is her long term partner,
Who stuck together when times were rough and harder,
She gave me nuff nursing without rehearsing,
Extra love and care when wounds would worsen,
Without a doubt, without a second thought,
She would rather go broke, rather than see me go short,
I’ve got to big up all the baby mothers 24/ 7,
Because at their sweet feet lies the gateway of heaven,
Thank you for the inspiration, knowledge, wisdom,
And the good food for my immune system
Momma you’re the third in my life,
After Allah and the Rasool it’s you I hold tight like a vice.

In this life what’s full of evil and vice,
As a youth you raised me up and my world was paradise.
Even though life is hard and having children can cause strife,
Momma never terminate me, momma chose to give me life.
There to pick me up everytime me start cry,
Teach me not to steal or cheat, or to tell lies,
Teach me all praise is due me say to the Most High.
No ordinary woman, because you made a sacrifice,
To dedicate your leisure to raising your child.
Every minute every second making sure we don’t spoil.
My gratitude nuff like the rain from the sky,
Because how many women would have made the same choice.

After Allah and the Rasool it’s you I hold tight like a vice.
