Mother's Day and Old age Homes

Re: Mother's Day and Old age Homes

women and women's worst enemy:D, the very same Saas would be very upset if Bahu delivers two baby girls instead of boys and would press Bahu to kill third one if she finds it is baby girl in making:D, then it is Bahu that becomes so upset with her saas that she wish to eliminate her from the home:(
Responsibility lies with the man/husband, men generally take better and balanced decisions:) (personal opinion) and if they can't take care of their mother or father then it is their fault the most followed by Bahu:)

Re: Mother's Day and Old age Homes

What I don't understand is ,why put a large part of the blame on the bahu ? She has come from another house & its your mother hasnt raised her ,In fact in most cases its your mother who is creating probs in her married life.So why will she have that extra attachment or any attachment to your mother other than the one a human has with another human he lives with ?
So a major part of teh blame lies on the Son,its he who was raised by the mother.A bahu will have more attachment with her mother ,which is a pretty obvious thing.Just like you were raised by your mother ,she was raised by her mother.

Re: Mother's Day and Old age Homes

But bahu ko ssas se Allah waste ka bair bhi to hota hai... Its because they want to share similar property. :D

On a serious note, in some cases I found DIL caring their saas-susar more than their son. nature nature pe depend karta hai. If you love your mother and you understand her love for you, you will never want others mother to suffer.

Re: Mother's Day and Old age Homes

Mothers fail to recognize how crazy their sons are for their wives/gfs

Re: Mother’s Day and Old age Homes

:emmy: Maa sab janti hai… In Mother’s language ’ 9 mah apne peit main rakha hai.. main teri baten tab bhi samjhti thi jab to pani ko mum kehta tha’

Re: Mother’s Day and Old age Homes

its also Bahu’s fault, she cannot see her mother being treated wrong way but stays silent when her husband does so, In sub continent culture, life is shared responsibilities between husband and wife:), and it is also upto saas, how better she impresses her Bahu too:), I have both mother and saas, one i love and other I revere:D

Its more about lineage,Saas wants the traditions to be continued, that is why they always want Bahu of their choice:), Daadi loves potas more than mother, by default:)

Yes but kabhi apne ladke ki galti nahi maan sakti bhale hi usne bagal waali ladki ko chera ho:D

Re: Mother's Day and Old age Homes

A woman(whatever her status is:mother,daughter,sister,daughter-in-law,mother -in-law)plays more significant role in the life of family than a man.
It's up to her whether she makes her home heaven or hell.
