but how do you mothers get some me-time or time to just chill out? Do you have a special place in the house you can escape to or some time of the day that is just yours and yours alone?
How do you escape from the craziness of the day and revitalise yourselves?
sometimes on the weekends, I hand the baby to my husband, shut my room's door, make the room really dark, turn the fan on full, and sleep smack bang in the middle of my bed for an hour or two. This sleep is more relaxing, more precious then any other form of relaxation for me :)
Dont the twinkies go bonkers looking for u? Munchkin wil search everyroom going "mama... are you there.... are you there... where are you?!" And I silently laugh in the room... and feel guitly at the same time. Lol
Every evening 1 hour walk all alone just freshen me up :) baby wth baba n tht 1 hour is just mine n of course on weekends huby put her to sleep n lay down wth her n I enjoy late nighttv movie whatever :)
Yes they come looking but I pretend I am not there or snore real loud so they think I'm sleeping. I am a sucky mom but I need my breather!! I really do for my sanity.
Took me a long time to realize that I needed time with myself alone...personal time.
So now, even though I have quite a lot on my plate as far as responsibilities go, I take the time out for working out at least 5 days a week...at a gym, for an hour.
I do lots of things..... I go to gym and to long walks.. sometimes i go for window shopping..... recently i have been going for swimming and aqua fitness classes .... emm and my kids activities/sports classes time is also my chill time...i LOVE to watch them playing... :)
I miss that ‘me’ time, maybe I get some when munchkin gets a little older. Abi he’s in that super clingy phase and I also dont like leaving him at any time
