Hello lovely guppies :slight_smile:

I am seriously struggling for clothes idea’s for my mum to wear to my wedding ! I need idea’s for mehendi , barat and walima! And stylish please no old school frumpy stuff !!!

Please help … Mums getting upset at the choice here in London but we can get clothes made from Pakistan which we will do :slight_smile:

Hi Sonia! Have you asked in the shops? My mum had the same problem and it was only when we asked in a few shops that they brought some stuff out- she has now ordered a suit to be tailormade based on what we ahve seen- but this was in birmingham.

A squared thats lovely J my mum is wearing similar on the nikkah.

Ladies please help me find some pictures of clothes that can be copied for mehendi, barat and walima. My wedding is drawing nearer and i cannot find anything in London that remotely looks nice.

My cousin is getting my mums clothes made from Pakistan and is going to bring them over to London so thats not an issue.

I really need some ideas, something vibrant modern and wow! What did your own mummy jee’s wear to your weddings? Are there any famous mothers at weddings??

Please help me L i want my mum to look beyond amazing InsAllah more than she does anyway!. She is more than happy to try any style :)

what is her size or body type? your avg mom doesn’t have the greatest figure so outfits that flare would make them look wide they are better off with straight lines and what not…

anyhow mendhi wise i really liked these outfits i saw in a recent album

That's too bad. Nothing can beat the look of a graceful sari particularly for a slightly older woman. They just look gorgeous, and it really looks so dignified and elegant.
