Mother of the believers, greatest woman scholar, daugther of the beloved

Re: Mother of the believers, greatest woman scholar, daugther of the beloved

Narrated 'Aisha: I did not feel jealous of any of the wives of the Prophet as much as I did of Khadija though I did not see her, but the Prophet used to mention her very often, and when ever he slaughtered a sheep, he would cut its parts and send them to the women friends of Khadija. When I sometimes said to him, "(You treat Khadija in such a way) as if there is no woman on earth except Khadija," he would say, "Khadija was such-and-such, and from her I had children."

Sahih Bukhari Volume 5, Book 58, Number 166

:k: Thanks for sharing this. Yes Khadjia radiallahu anha is another great woman scholar and no doubt Aisha radiallahu anha was jealous of Khadija radiallahu anha 's character, sincerity, devotion, love for Allah and his Rasul sallallahu alayhi wasallam, and I can go on.. Which woman would not like to be Khadija radiallahu anha :slight_smile: subhan’Allah.

Same book, just before that hadith you posted;

   Narrated 'Ali radiallahu anhu:
   The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam said, "The best of the world's women is Mary (at her lifetime), and the best of the world's women is Khadija (at her lifetime)."

:slight_smile: Great women that we as Muslims are so blessed to call our mothers.
