I think some years back or may be in some areas still that neighbors always eager to help their neighbors in difficult time or in some happiness moment.
In case of death, they took responsibility to inform people and gave food for 3 days even sometime 2 families gave meal at the same time but now a days Its hard to see any thing like this but may be in small areas we still have this thing.
Same case was in marriages that whole boys gathered and worked as a catering company. Some appointed to bring Tents, Some on Daigs (I loved to appoint on Daig) some went to municipal committee to bring tractor trolley for showering the water, some bringing chicken. Whole night they worked and in the end of function count spoons, plates for returning these items to catering company. But now a days we have marriages hall and this tradition is dying.

Bridal dresses are from groom side and groom dresses are from bridal side but in punjabis wedding dress of bride from bridal side and walima dress from groom side and it is vice versa for groom.but In balochies i heard its really nice to pay everything to bride for her marriage including dresses.

But in many rural areas we have catering service and its upto you either you take their sitting arrangement and serving facility only. You ll prepare meals by your self. But now a days most of the peoples are not doing proper arrangements like before they did.

Global mobilization is the culprit. Those who work in foreign lands and even urban areas of their countries, they are now not ready to provide catering services during a wedding in their homelands (in rural areas)

Another things I forgot to share in marriages, every neighbor gave one complete set (pillow, bed sheet, Razai) and Cot. Some neighbor spare their Drawing room or they called it Bhaitak for the guests.
Last time I went to a marriage in a small town Mianai and got the same treatment :). Their neighbor gave me his best room and also did Gupshup till I said
