most important issue in pakistan.

completly different priorities emerge from common people of pakistan.

Outside specific areas of Pakistan, most people say unemployment, followed by issues such as education, health, sanitation and transport.
The great majority don’t even mention Kashmir, Afghanistan or the US unless you ask about them

Re: most important issue in pakistan.

So? We are talking about our own problems. You will get the same answers from Indians, who are worse and are also plague ridden in these regards, but that does not mean you have a serious problems in Gurjrat and Kashmir, which will inshallah disintegrate your country one day.

ya, since the same problems exist in india, it's not really a problem.

and about disintegration of india, please wake up and smell what balochistan and NWFP just subhanallah announced with their voting pattern. all this talk of india disintegrating in a couple of years has been on from 1947. i'm surprised it's still on despite 1971. people can be so naive.

Yeah, but what happened in case you didnt know, was that in 1971, we were seperated from home by a thousand miles of enemy territory. The Enemy being 3 times our number, surrounded us on three sides, not to mention the enemies within. So we fought and not surprisingly, we lost.
India has about ten major sepratist movements. The biggest being in Kashmir and Punjab. Now the Punabi Sikhs fought for a while for Khalistan but were unable to defeat their opressor. The difference is that they did not have support form an aly that outnumbered the enemy three to one. In Kashmir, its the same problem.
So the reason India hasnt disintegrated is because those seeking freedom from India dont have the support neccesary.
So basically, you need to go and study your history.

BTW, India has only been around for 50 years, dont pat yourselves on the back yet:)

Queer, although youre obsessed with Pakistan (which explains why you spend so much time on this forum and its chat room) you know nothing about it…

In case you didnt know, the MMA just defeated the ANP and the BNP in both NWFP and Baluchistan respectively, and the ANP and the BNP were both nationalist parties, and the MMA is not. So tell me, why didnt you act like an idiot and say this when the ANP and BNP had their voting patterns in the two provinces? The victory of the MMA will make sure there is a permanent end to provincial disharmony, which you low life Indians revere so much.

So learn something about politics of Pakistan before opening your trap. In case you didnt know, youre the first fool who thinks that the MMA being elected to power means break up for Pakistan, hahaha I thought spending all your life on pak gupshup might have knocked some sense into ya.

I can understand the pain associated with the VHP/Sena/RSS danda…

India worries after Pakistan poll results
(Updated at 1000 PST)
NEW DELHI: Indian Foreign Minister, Yashwant Sinha, has expressed concern at the strong showing of pro-Taliban and anti-US religious extremists in Pakistan’s elections, a report said on Saturday.

Sources in the Indian external affairs ministry said a formal government reaction was being drafted and would be released on Sunday. In results until late Friday, the six-party Muttahidda Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) Islamic alliance had secured 45 seats, or 16.5 percent of the national assembly.

The massive swing to the Islamists, who picked up only four seats when they contested the 1997 elections separately, followed a passionate campaign by fireband clerics through western border areas where anger at the US-led war in Afghanistan runs high.

Adnan,

thanks for the "history lesson". fairy tales are always amusing.

people seeking freedom dont have necessary support? story of jinnahpur, sindhudesh, pakthunkhwa, kashmir, all there in that one line. and now with the voting pattern showing such marked difference in areas with pashtun presence, a wave of change is coming.

queer, you wanna say that Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore are also pashtun dominated cities?

Yeah, zaavia, just because Islamabad, the most modern city in Pakistan elected the MMA, means that its going to become Islamabadistan, according to queers dumb logic… He knows nothing about Pakistans politics, but then again, like a typical helpless Indian, he can do nothing but whine… He still failed to explain why the voting pattern in last elections, which said that the ANP was the dominant party in the NWFP, and BNP for Baluchistan never resulted in freedom. Queer, you idiot, there are no freedom movements going on there, and we dont really care what names (sindhudesh or whateva) India has given these imaginary movements. Besides, the PPP has won in Sindh, does that mean (according to queers logic again) that Sindh wants independence? How come the MQM lost so badly… Phat gayi queer?

**
Qazi reiterated the MMA was above regionalism, provincialism, parochialism, ethnicity and hatred. “We are no Punjabis, no Pathans, no Sindhis, no Balochis and no Kashmiris. We are brothers. Quran and Sunnah is our recognition. **

LOL!

From the article:

As an acquaintance in the Pakistani military asked me, **“Do you really think we’d cut off our family jewels and hand them to the first beard who comes along?” **

:hehe:

i never said it was only the pashtoon areas which voted the MMA in. the matter still stands - the only non-coalition provincial govt is going to be in NWFP; and pashtoon areas followed a clearly different voting trend.

there is no sindhudesh or other separatist movements? dear spock, now you know how little you really know of your country.

okay so another good topic wasted by lame bickering..
why dont you guys open a seperate thread and just have an all out war there rather then destroying every thread with this pissing contest..
