(May 27, 2001) All flavours of ice cream at Baskin Robbins, with the exception of chocolate, contain flavourings extracted in alcohol. This is true for Canada and the United States. In Saudi Arabia and other overseas markets, the flavourings are not extracted in alcohol. For this reason, we ask Muslims in Canada and the United States to avoid all Baskin Robbins ice creams except for the chocolate flavour. Baskin Robbins has over 4600 locations worldwide.
