Most Expensive Cars To Drive - Yahoo! India News

Re: Most expensive cars to drive.
The article starts off with S65 by Merc. While a $194k price-tag appears steep for a car, when you look at real luxury cars of our time, this is not even close. Maybach, Bentley, Rolls all have models which are much more expensive than this.
And we are not even going down the sports car route where a Bugatti Veyron and Lamborgini Reventon will likely lighten your bank account by about $1.4 million (taxes and shipping included). Well, to save everyone an embarrased grin, lets not even talk about "your" bank account. :D
Maserati MC 12 can be had for a mere ÂŁ515,000. Compared to that a Ferrari or Porsche is definitely cheap stuff.
Or we can go down the route of antique cars and collectibles, which is a whole different pricing structure. So you wanna talk about expensive cars! :)
Re: Most expensive cars to drive.
Infact that's people's choice. The one you believe in necessarily not be the right one for another person.
Antique........Well you know there are people in this world, like me, who do not want to touch `the second-hand stuffs' :)
Re: Most expensive cars to drive.
^ Huh? What do you mean, “people’s choice”?? Whether something is expensive or not is a fact, not a choice. You can check the prices of cars easily. Of course, if the question were “what are the best cars to drive”, then that is an entirely subjective discussion and people’s choices can vary a lot.
By the way, this article is a bit dated (circa 2006), but it lists down the 10 most expensive cars in the world. While there are a few additions here and there, this list is still an ok list. You will note that the least expensive car on this list ($255k) is still more expensive than the Merc S65 ($194k) that was on Yahoo! India’s article you quoted.

They are talking about most expensive cars sold in India . I guess. They might not allow the ones you mentioned to be imported in India.

They look good in the pictures.
you mean most expensive production cars to drive don't you?, I mean there are cars worth nearly 10 times the price of the Veyron, one such example is the Ferrari 250 Luso (once was sold off through an auction for 10,000,000.00 GBP, lets just say you really don't want to convert those figures into rupees lol), there's the Maybach Excelero (worth $8,000,000.00 not a production vehicle but can be had, only 2 such cars exist, one somewhere in California and the other with Maybach Germany), there are loads of cars that are sold for well over $5,000,000.00 these days, the first 2009 Corvette C6 ZR-1 that was sold in early january of this year was sold for $1,000,000.00 (waste of money?, I totally agree, its not worth Sh!t now lol), I can go on and on about the most expensive cars that one can drive, the cars you've mentioned are not even close to being the jewel of the crown.
antique cars in the market today are worth more then pretty much anything in production currently.
