Last week I was waiting for the elevator at the mall with 1 of my friends (a guy). Elevator was taking a long time, and we were the only ppl on that floor at that time (parking), and I was fooling around. I was pretending like I was going to fight him, standing face to face (barely an inch between us). Then suddenly the elevator door opened up behind us (without me realizing it), and a whole bunch of people inside just stared at us in disgust and some put on wierd faces, thinking that we were about to kiss. Then I made it worse by saying that we are gonna take the next elevator (it was full anyways).
i was in college elevator once and this white looking fat girl entered in elevator with me.. i had a few of my friend along with me.. i said to one of my friend.. "o great.. u think we'll be able to get to 4th floor any sooner now since shes in here " and then i said.. " elevator in jese bechaarion ke liye banaai hoti hain" in urdu.. all of the friends had a smile on their face.. and before the elevator closed .. she suddenly replied.. " aap chale jaaen mein stairs le leti hoon ".. i was sooo embarassed ... my angels didnt know she knew urdu.. she was i think from NWFP area.. but one cant tell if shes from that part of the world just by looking at her.. i was sooo embarassed!!! instead of getting off on 4th floor i got off on the 2nd. Everytime i see her now... she gives me this weird look.. and i HATE it !!

In my primary class there was a subject "Maashrati Uloom".
I had to read the topic on "Pencil factories in Pakistan". Our teacher used to be dozing off during someone reading while standing in the class and class mates were supposed to listen.
I read the sentence as: "Pakistan mein naram larkiyon ki bohtaat hai"
instead of
'Pakistan mein naram Lakriyon ki bohtat hai'.
I was curious why everyone was laughing and the teacher had his eyes wide open!!!!
Back in the days internet was new in pakistan(and in the world)
Every one was talking about it , not every one knew what it was.
I was in my room-turned-study using internet. My Bhabi came upstairs she asked me what is this internet.
I explained it to her, Then I try to demonstrate it. I said "see i can get free software from around the world"
Instead of typing www.hotfileS.com(free software site in 90s) I typed www.hotfile.com(a unathecal site)
Thank God for slow dial up modem speed. when I ladies started apearing I was able to close whole browser.
So it was a dawat for me and my husband, the newly wedds. All of my husband's friends and their wives were there..when we are about to leave and saying goodbys, I step out the door and totally miss the steps, and fall. I supported myself with my knees and hands..got up quickly even before husband reached to get me..and then he burst out laughing and saying jab heels ke saath walk nahi ker sakti, to pehni kyun thi..everyone is smiling, and blaming it on the dim lights in the street.
and then there was one time when I threw up right at his friend's feet, missed him by a couple inches. So embarrassing!

Oh i have done something like this, i was at a supermarket checkout with my mum and the checkout women looked like she was from the west indies to me she had really long acrylic nail. So i said to my mum yay kithnay hofnaak luk tay hai. Then she said to me mere barray may bath na karo. Ohhhhhhh i was so embarrassed and my mum was laughing
Rainyday.... I have a similar story..... it's not mine but it's about my aunt..... we were standing in the checkout line as well and the guy right in front of us (Caucasian) was taking his time and my aunt got mad and said "kutta badmash kitni dhair lagara hai" and he turned around and said " mujhe urdu aati hai" and told us that he lived in Pakistan for a couple of years...... my aunt was soooo embarrassed that she just left without saying anything! and I had to apologize on her behalf!

Similar to the one above. When internet was newly introduced to High-Schools. Teacher asked the whole lab to open www.washington.ca (he thought it would have USA information for Candians) … which was apprently a dirty site
He then asked everyone to step outside immidietly
