Dear Muqawwee, wars do lead to destruction. But what happened to the jews was not part of a war. It was the systematic annihilation of a race of people due to xenophobia. I cannot imagine the anguish and terror experienced by them and their relatives. There arestill people alive who recont these horrors. Rather than deny it hapened, we can start threads disussing others who also suffered similarly. I am just appealing to your sense of fairness (which I know you have plenty of) to resist making such remarks.
You are much stronger in history than me (along with language, science etc). So I will have to do my homework to debate the sepcifics. But just wanted to say I was a bit saddened when I saw the remark (and I am not jewish as you know).
