I love heels. The higher the better.
But they have been doing a wonder on my feet. So where can I find 3-4 inch plus heels that I can wear throughout the day without the need to take them off.
Tell me there is such a things as comfort stelitoes

My feet seem to like sling backs as opposed to court heels. I think they like the strap.
If I know i'l be wearing heels for longer than 3 hours, I walk around in them with socks on the day before so my feet get used to them.

try the ones with a bit of platform......they are waaaaaaaaaay more comfortable than others.
also try to make sure that there is support for the heel in the back and the more they cover your foot the better.......(i.e. strappy sandals will not ensure full day comfort as eventually there will be too much pressure and the straps will start to "cut" into your skin.)
Dr. Scholls makes special insoles and cushions for the "balls of your feet". These are good to keep your feet from sliding forward in higher heels.

If you wear heels everyday though surely your feet must be used to them?
I very very very rarely get a chance to wear my heels hence the need to prepare my feet for the numb feeling.

naaz - Do you own a pair? I saw the show on Oprah last year. But they are pricey so need a real user review. They look really nice though.
I love, love, love high heels! When I shop for shoes, they need to be 2 1/2 to 3 inches (the 4 inch heels were killers - so not doing that again). The only problem is my manager who is about 15 years older than me is going in for foot surgery later on this summer (she’s already had steroid injections). Apparently her years of wearing high heels has resulted in major foot complications. So the doctor is going to cut open her foot up and cut through the cartillage and shave the bone to shift the toes back in line (or something weird like that).
Now everytime I feel a twinge in my foot, I get paranoid that my feet are going to go wacky and I’ll need the same surgery :hinna:
So if anyone out there designs ergonomically correct footwear - he will have my eternal blessing.
BTW, according to the orthopedic surgeon, apparently the only “good” shoes for feet are Birkenstocks.
Yup, bunions. It’s a painful condition and an even more painful surgery and long recovery time. They either shave the bone down, or break it and put a metal rod in to straighten it, then it has to heal hopefully straight.
It’s very common in women who wear high heels most of the time throughout their lives.
If you see photos of Victoria Beckham without her usual closed heels, you can see she has them.

wish I was one to look at brand names......then I could recommend......but this is a great reason to go shoe shopping.

I am not on my feet most of the day but something that can get me from the parking lot to the office.
I saw a really nice pair of nine west 4 inch heels balck pumps. They felt comfortable enough but you need to take a 10 minute stroll to really detemrine the comfort level.

christian louboutin are the best, since 2 inches of ther heel is covered, otherwise too theyr are super comfortable ih ave peep toes, they are comfy
