Re: mosques in dtroit
There is a Masjid in the Wayne State area called the Islamic Center of Detroit. There is a separate section for women and many women with kids go there for Jummah. It is quite comfortable.

Re: mosques in dtroit
Almost all Dearborn Mosques has ladies section. The problem with some of them might be parking.
The one on chase road has good parking cause its more of a residential nieghborhood.

parking solution = be early :p super early.
what is the name of the one on chase road? is it the one niksik mentioned?

Re: mosques in dtroit
hey niksik, someone told me that a lot of ppl bring their kids to the icd, and the imam gets 'agitated' when the kids cry. so is it like a tiny mosque with adjacent sections? have you been there?
do you know any other mosques, they don't have to be close by..
Re: mosques in dtroit
I have been to ICD. The ladies section is upstairs sort of like a big balcony type, and below that is the men's section where the Imam stands. If your baby crys, you can go to the hallway which is separate and away from the main prayer room.
Re: mosques in dtroit
cool..cool. thanks niksik!
