Hagia Sophia was actually a church built by Justinian, which was then took over by muslims and made into mosque...and now it serves as a museum.

it is one of the reason turkey is not part of EU

so no its not the mosque..even if u go there...it gonna have both justianian mosaic altarpieces and islamic signatures.
