Mosque at a disputed site

Re: Mosque at a disputed site

No, no intention of spreading hatred.

My intention here is to attract your attention to something that was actually a barbarous act of a Muslim ruler who deliberately demolished Hindu temples against the rulings of Islam.

Kashi, Mathura and Ayodhya…..these three places are as sacred for Hindus as Makka is for you. And what was the need to build Mosques in the religious centers of these cities, even if the Moghal invaders did not demolish any temple there as per the theories of present day Muslims.

If you visit these places, you do not need any survey or research work to understand the reality if these Muslim rulers in fact demolished some existing temple or not.

Hindus cannot make a temple of their own choice in India and the interesting fact is that the Indian security forces (dominated mostly by Hindus) are bound maintain the decorum in these areas.

I doubt if Muslims (or political Muslims) really follow the rulings of Islam when it is concerned to the feelings of non-Muslims.

And in Pakistan, a Muslim majority state, such things are not a problem; I mean to sell out a Hindu temple land for money cannot be an issue…..

Another temple is no more in Lahore

Re: Mosque at a disputed site

why would you even want a mosque at a place that could cause so much division? just give them the area and build another mosque elsewhere.

And then he says this....

Go fool a penguin!

As for the temple: It's totally a law and order situation. The temple you've mentioned has been abandoned for years, therefore it was purely a building of historical interest, and in that respect its demolishment is totally uncalled for. This was in noway a "functioning" or an "in use" religous site that its demolishment would mean that people would have to go elsewhere to perform the rituals of their faith.

You probably have no idea that they've so many construction projects on in Lahore, they just recently demolished the British-era clock tower on the Mall to make way for some new mega construction project. However, this is unlike demolition of the shrines and mosques in India which were actually IN USE by the minorities of that region and NOT defunct/abandoned!
