ritenow i am sharing Mosaic work i did very recently…haath toot project! (i used clay tile, ceremic tile, graphite, marble :hayaa:, glass)
theme: i presented ALLAH SWT name in an abstract manner

it took me four months 
and it is 60 cm X 60 cm

Wow... it is pretty zobo, the more I see it, the different ways I can see Allah written. I am not sure if that is what you wanted when you were making it but yeah very nice.
As you know I love mosaic work but I am quite so so at it...lol...

Nazi, I don’t know where zobo might have bought her material but you can get get this stuff from any hardware store like home depot, lowes, home and decor, menards, even at some walmarts.

well i took that much time because i had 8 courses in that semester. besides i used to travel a lot and other problems.
material…well it was pro course, and i get to learn from an italian artist (prof).
we actually commissioned the work for a hospital…so the money we got from that hospital actually bought things for mosaic.
all the mosaic work tools were provided by the teacher.
i will post the details of tool and material asap

ps. samad it was my first mosaic. it is easy for guys to chisel but it is not for us gals. i know europe is way ahead in these things…so why dont u post ur work?

Jab mera ghar ho ga, ghar main aik baagh ho ga, baagh main aik lakri ka maiz ho ga, maiz ka ooper wala hissa main mosaic kay saath sajaaon gi aur picture post karon gi tab tak kay liye yeh dekh ker lutf o andoz hon:
^^ This is absolutely beautiful. I have couple mosaic tables, trays, and decoration pieces at home. I will see if I can take a pic sometime and post.
I did my curb thingy with mosaic but it doesn’t look anything like the above two…lol…actually I didn’t know the actual tecnique therefore I was more like experimenting with different techniques I thought can do the work…lol
So I know it is kind of bad and you can say. lol… I am planning to re-do the other side again hopefully when I am home…

It was a wet day so it took me two days. When I did the other side, it was an extremely hot day and it took me 3-4 days…
