i see a new channel called 'Ten Sports' advertising that they will telecast Morocco Cup..since Ten Sports is based in Sharjah I guess thats the one for Gulf
It is not on FOX Sports (till todate), and TEN sports has the rights only for Pak, Ind, SL regions…
There is one pay channel Pehla Plus Sports, but is showing the Kenya matches…
and also Bukhatir’s Cricketers Benefit Fund Series (CBFS), the Sharjah-based organisation that put Sharjah on the international cricket map, will be handling the organisation of all tournaments hosted at the Tangier Cricket Stadium. With total prize money of $250,000 and $120,000 for the winning team in this tournament, Tangier could soon outshine Sharjah as a venue for offshore cricket. http://www.indiantelevision.com/headlines/y2k2/july/july136.htm

You know whats really lousy about all this is that we in Karachi are probably not going to be able to see any of the matches. Zee is banned (which is good) - Super Sports has now been shut down by the cable operators - we do not get ten sports and neither Espn nor Star Sports will show the tournament. Even PTV is quiet and low key - which means we in Karachi - are pretty much screwed
PBC denied Morocco Cup broadcasting rights
LAHORE: The Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) has been deprived of broadcasting rights of commentary on the matches played in the Morocco Cup.
It is reliably learnt that when the PBC approached TEN Sports, the organisers of the tri-nations series in Tangier, for the commentary broadcasting rights they were told, much to their astonishment, that these rights have been already purchased by a business group of Karachi. The front man of this group is a former director finance of PBC who retired about three years ago. It is also alleged that the group also used the name of a well-known english commentator to obtain the broadcasting rights. http://www.jang.com.pk/thenews/aug2002-daily/08-08-2002/sports/s8.htm
