What’s the weather like in Morocco, Turkey and Greece in September? I’m gonna be there for 2 weeks in September. Right now, we are aiming for Morocco (Casablanca) but if that doesn’t work out, then we are going to Turkey and some of the Greek islands.
Anybody been? Gimme some travelling tips.
Went to morocco last December, was told that was the wetest/coldest time and did fine with long sleeved shirts....pretty nice weather IMO and it only rained one day out of 10, friend swho went in october said the same.
we checked out king hassan II's mosque in casablanca, it's gorgeous and they do have tours on most days of the week but not fridays....other than thatwe got out of casablanca very quickly because there isn't much else to see...
we loved marakesh, stayed in a great hotel in jama al fina...I'd suggest you check out lonely planet morocco, it has great suggestions and info for the area...

Of all the countless countries I been to, Turkey has been my favourite.
I am referring to the south!
Marmaris area.
Cheap, clean, friendly and Halal food!!
Mind you, its purely designed for tourism... so not much real Turkish environment there.
I hired a motorbike for a week and toured the mountains up and down.
Rhodes (Greek Island) is only an hours ferry ride away, too.
Beautiful beaches, lotsa small islands.
Hire a boat and explore yourself!!!!
Cant stand those organised tours for the goray!!!
Go it alone! Its so much more fun.
And being Paki.... you can haggle like crazy and stock up for all your Christmas's to come!!!
Moroccans call us Hindustanis. I think we are deemed as Miskeen in their Arab eyes!
I wouldnt say in my top choices of places to go to.... Muslim countries aren't always the western ideal of a holiday... and knowing YOu, I think you'll like Greece or Turkey better.
BTW, the Greeks hate muslims (the whole Cyprus issue) so... Turkey it is then!!!

Beware of hyper inflation.... I used to exchange my money on a daily basis. The value would drop as I slept so only change what you need for that day! No joke!!

regarding hindustani...
we kept getting asked if we were hindustani/india and we would say pakistani and muslim and the moroccans would be so surprised that we were muslim..how odd is that?

woow Mehnaz. Either way whichever one you choose, i think you'll find something culturally fabulous in both places. (IF you don't mind my asking), is this a personal trip or something related to work?
Morocco has been one of my dream places to visit.
Personal/pleasure … I’ve always wanted to go to Morrocco and inshallah, this year I will.
(or maybe Turkey instead)
