Well played Pakistan.
Great start by saeed.
Extremly Good finish by Razaq and Younis(never thought he can hit).
Wel bowled Afrid and Sami.
Somehow surprised to see Waqar figure.
Congrats pakistan **

One thing that I love about Younis Khan is that-- He is very gutsy ..agressive player...he play his natural game no matter how much pressure he is in.. he is new.. and w/ time... he will be treat to watch
One thing that differ Pakistan team from rest of the world..is they are exceptionaly talented and agressive( like westindies use to be in 70's)...
I think every single player in our team is capable of big hitting...
Though Moin is not in the team.. but man he can hit six to any bowler so sweatly --w/ leg flick!!
Looking at Imran Nazir Biceps and the distance his six covers...totally defies Newton third law of motion!!--he is a sweet timer of ball!!
Congrats all! :)
Pakistan Zindabad-and on our independance day. What a sweet win.
...:::= Pakistan Zindabad ]=:::....
** And Jashn-E-Azadi Mubarak ** *To all Guppies... :) *
What a game
.
.
.
If the batting hadn’t slowed down a little in the middle, and if Afridi had stuck around for a while longe, Pakistan could have reached 300
:k:
Great game
Jashn-e-Azaadi Mubarak!
You know whats the worst thing that can happen to you? A final examination on Jashn-e-Azadi and that too on a day when Pakistan is playing Sri Lanka, and everyone is in your house watching the match, and you have to study and take the final :(
I missed the match, but I am not depressed, cuz our team is back to its winning ways again. So what if they lost one match, considering their previous winning streaks, we can forgive them for the defeat at the hands of the SA, and I am sure its going to be SA and PAK in the finals, clash of the champions!!! Go Pakistan and Happy Independence Day to all Pakistanis in this forum :)
is there any way ...i can watch the matches online....
or can i find the recording of the match online somewhere??...

In the latest match S/L has won the toss and elected to bat. After 8 overs they are 43/0.
TANGIERS, Morocco (Reuters) - Sri Lanka captain Sanath Jayasuriya bemoaned a poor bowling and batting display after a 28-run defeat by Pakistan in the second match of the Morocco Cup triangular tournament.
"The bowlers have to be more consistent and what is the point of making 30s and then getting out?" Jayasuriya said after the match.
Sri Lanka were restricted to 251 for eight in their 50 overs on Wednesday after Pakistan had reached 279 for five thanks to a storming finish from Younis Khan (56 not out) and Abdur Razzaq (29 not out) described as "crucial" by skipper Waqar Younis.
Khan hammered an unbeaten 56 from 39 balls while Razzaq was even more ruthless, smashing 29 from 11 as they added 50 runs in double quick time.
Khan's innings included five fours and two sixes, both in the last over which cost Sri Lanka 25 runs. Razzaq also hit a six and a four off seamer Chaminda Vaas in the final over.
Opener Saeed Anwar laid the foundations for Pakistan's daunting total with a controlled 70 from 77 balls which included seven fours and a six.
Despite reaching 116 for the loss of just one wicket by the 22nd over, mainly due to Jayasuriya's crisp 36 from 33 balls, Sri Lanka were never able to maintain the required scoring rate and lost wickets regularly.
Opener Marvan Atapattu's pedestrian 42 from 73 balls dragged the run chase down while Kumar Sangakkara (38) and Mahela Jayawardene (32) both required in excess of 50 balls to accumulate their runs.
Earlier Sri Lanka's master spinner Muttiah Muralitharan had fought a lone battle to control Pakistan's batsmen with a crafty return of one for 35 from 10 overs. But the three frontline seamers, Vaas, Pulasthi Gunaratne and Dilhara Fernando conceded 186 runs between them.
**Pakistan had the edge taken off their impressive win when they were fined five percent of their match fee for a slow over rate by match referee Gundappa Viswanath.
The Sri Lankan team left the Tangiers Cricket Stadium barely ten minutes after the finish of the match while Younis failed to arrive for a post match press conference. **
South Africa - 125/6 :) Go Tigers Go.
So this tournament is heavily favoring the spinners.
I guess Waqar needs to rethink about Saqlain.
Maybe he should be brought back into the team, he will definately make the difference.
Lets hope Srilanka wins this one as it will make the tournament more exciting to watch.
Sri Lanka Won and Got the Bonus point as well - And that brings the Tigers on TOP :)
Congratulations !! Very Well Played. Great batting from Arvinda Desilva and good contribution from every player.
Man, Lankans outclassed South African.
The tournament enters into a exciting moment;)
