My husband and I are off to Pakistan this december, on the way back we’re finally taking our honeymoon trip!! We’ll be spending 10 days in Morocco and souther Spain.
Has anyone been?
Anyone have suggestions for places to stay? We’re planning to hostel it most of the time.
i've been to southern spain...Malaga, Granada and Seville. Very beautiful. i will be posting pictures later once i have scanned them. No idea where you could stay as i went on a school trip and stayed in aspanish family's house. Another tip is to have basic basic knowledge of Spanish because in most of the shops and other placs they do not speak English.

Make sure to visit Grenada and Sevilla in Spain with all that Moorish history and architecture to boast of. In addition, I hear Morocco is pretty awesome as well…hmmm although can’t say the same for Moroccan food though, from what I’ve heard.
In any event, have an awesome trip.
I’ve been to Morocco, the place ROCKS, the food ROCKs and the guys ROCK 
their resturants have to be the BEST types I have EVER BEEN TO!!!

it was just so amazing, fun and really great.
We were so so on the food we liked some of the moroccan food but did get tired of tajines and cous cous towards the end. SEville had the most amazing tapas and real hot chocolate with real whipped cream and the best pan o chocolate we've ever tased!
you have to be careful of people trying to rip you off or over charge in morocco. Otherwise people were really friendly and helpful.
Grenada the people, the sites and alhambra/the albacin was just incredible as was seville. we went to the grenada mosque too!!! what a great location!

Andalusia, Albaicin, the narrow alleyways, a mosque peeping out from there, a centuries-old cathedral showing from there, all around you history and culture, architectural monuments to dream about - :love: wow.

Here's ait bin hadoon..it's a fort in souther morocco. IT's also where gladiator and lawrence of arabia were filmed. it is now a unesco world heritage site.
