Has anybody used it? Did you notice a difference after using it?
I was about to buy it, but thought i would see if any GS’ers have used it…

Re: Moroccan Oil
i have argon oil - it is an ingredient in in Moroccan oil...its half the price and does the job. once I'm done with the argon, I'll get the Moroccan. some guppies swear by it!
Re: Moroccan Oil
Can I ask what you use the oil for?
Re: Moroccan Oil
I have been using it for about 1.5 year now and it has really made my hair softer and gives a very silky feel. I use it after each time i wash my hair and also before i straighten it, which also prevents the hair from drying
What product of theirs would anyone who's used it recommend? The oil or are any of the hair masks any good?
Re: Moroccan Oil
Oops, sorry guys, i should have specified
it’s an oil that’s primarily used for the hair. Here is a product description, taken from their site:
Syraa, the product i am referring to is their original oil, not their range of sprays, creams etc.
Afshi, my sister uses the Kiehls argon oil…is that all that Morroccon oil is, argon? If so, i might as well just buy it in it’s purest form…apparently it’s good for the skin as well…![]()
Re: Moroccan Oil
i asked the lady at the salon, and she says the difference b/w argan and Moroccan oil is that that argan oil has alcohol in it, and Moroccan doesnt it. and argan is waaaay cheaper.
Re: Moroccan Oil
I use Argan Oil as well.
Re: Moroccan Oil
I am just looking over the Moroccon Oil website, and it says that the oil reduces drying time. I noticed this as well when using Argan Oil. My hair dries so fast.
I find this so interesting.
Re: Moroccan Oil
I love Moroccan Oil. I purchased a bottle over a year ago and it is still one quarter full. I use it 3 or 4 times a week and love it!!!
I took it to London with me and let my SIL try it. She loved it too.
I have not tried the Argan Oil so I can't comment on the difference. Perhaps I will give it a try.
Re: Moroccan Oil
Muzna you have lovely hair… i’m so buying it!!! ![]()
So is this something you apply onto your hair before washing, or is it used after?
Re: Moroccan Oil
Muzna and Afshi, where did you guys get it from? Can you kindly let me know the brand, or can I use any brand? Thanks! :)
Re: Moroccan Oil
you apply a tiny amount (about the size of a pound coin) to damp hair after you have washed and conditioned.
then you style as normal.
it is absolutely lovely........makes hair super-soft and adds shine.
you can also apply to dry hair just before you flat iron.......
go ahead and invest.....you won't be sorry.
I purchased mine from the salon where I get my hair done.
Re: Moroccan Oil
Maroush, my haridresser recommended it for my hair and I almost bought the bottle. Wanted to get some reviews first. Then I went to this other Beauty Supply place and was asking the people there for what would work for my dry, color treated, frizzy and pathetic hair, and they again recommended Morrocan Oil. So I, too, am getting it now.
Re: Moroccan Oil
Niki....you may also want to try a deep conditioning treatment for your hair once every fortnight.
I will check to see what the name of it is on the container at home but its like a cream that you apply to your hair....massage it in gently and then put on one of those caps that connect to your hairdryer and heat up your head. LOL. Works really well on treated hair that needs to be repaired.
Do get the oil though.....that's great for regular use......
Re: Moroccan Oil
Please let me know the name of that deep conditioning treatment. My hair quality is totally messed up.
Re: Moroccan Oil
I will check tonight when I get home and post it here.
Re: Moroccan Oil
I have been using it for the past two months and it's awesome. Hair-drying time is def shorter using morrocan oil. My hair is less frizzy and belive me im a frizzball. I also use it on my girls after shampooing just for smoothing it out. For me, i use a dime size and its more than enuf. GET IT!! Plus I have noticed, my haircolor looks better after i dry my hair wiht moroccan oil.
Re: Moroccan Oil
I've been using it for 2 weeks now after showering. I use a nickel size amount and it keeps the frizz down, and makes my hair soft. It smells lovely! I love it :)
Fekkai hair repair mask is fantastic! So is Avon's olive oil hair mask.. for dry, brittle, colored and damaged hair.
I've tried the Moroccan oil, it's a lot like the Pantene oil replacement cream. It does keep the hair very supple and manageable.
