i went to several moroccan weddings its reli nice
the bride chages her outfits about 7 time on her wedding while the guests wait she and the grooms go to change their outfits and came back dance for a while and make a few pix then they go to change it again.
they usually borrow the outfits and jewelry.

They rent out dresses and big size ethnic gold necklecess, crown or tiara and the gold belt, however the groom still buy gold set or two for the bride and also the bride family buys one or two but not as big as the ones they rent. they also have a day is called mehendi day where the groom familly brings a huge silver or golden trays full of gifts and that is where they display the gold sets, Fabrics, Shoes, Dresses, Purses, Sweets and they even bring a Bull or a sheep along with the gifts, Drummers are coming along musician and they sing a song for the brides family like they are asking for the brides hand outside her home and those drummers and musician are dancing outside and then the brides familly opens the door for the grooms familly and throws flower leaves and rose water and start making duaa in loud voice to protect the couple from the bad eye....:)

Don`t forget that those dresses shown are worn by models in a fashion show, usually brides wear a thin dupatta with theses dresses and a traditional gold or diamond tiara with long traditional necklace:)

Those humongous belts that they wear on their dresses are made of pure gold! but yea i think their dresses are quite nice!

I love whatever is old, traditional, ethnic and unique and noticed so many europeen girls, actresses and just the public in europe wears these type of clothes on the street but in the outwear type with the hood and its called moroccan djelaba. I personally love them. but noone here in USA knows how to sew sth like that:(

i wore something similar to number 6, (but in more of a cream/gold colour, and a little less heavy looking) to a friend’s wedding… desi clothes just get a tad monotonous sometimes…

yeah bride looks good with a dupatta on her head.. these dresses are nice but missing the IT factor.
