After a m/c last year, i found out i was expecting again. My last pregnancy did not have these symptoms as much but this time around, i am only 6 weeks right now and the morning sickness is taking over my life!
I googled what can help me and lemon candies and gingerale helps a little but my life is just depending on it. Its so unhealthy, imagine the sugar!
I haven’t announced my pregnancy yet so i cant ask around for help. Can you suggest me food that will make me feel better?
Congratulations! I was pretty much inactive the first trimester as well. I used to sleep a lot and did not have the energy to do anything. Also experienced morning sickness, but my ob told me to eat salted crackers first thing in the morning. As soon as you wake up. In sha Allah hope you will feel better and may Allah bless you with a healthy baby and a full term pregnancy!
Someone told me about the salted crackers too and it works. Keep them by your bed and eat them as soon as you wake up. Also I found going without food too long actually made the nausea worse so try eating something small every couple hours. It will eventually get better. If it gets really bad, I heard there is a medicine (diclectin I believe) that helps so see your doctor.
Anything salty helps. I used to eat lays potato chips. And eating after long intervals makes it worse. This too shall pass. If it's really bad you can ask your doc for a prescription for diclectin. But I was wary of taking it and only took it if I felt really bad.
Yeah, it helped initially but then the bloating started. I am not throwing up as much, and able to eat more.
Digestion is a major problem right now, still gagging. I feel so hungry all the time, sometimes it gets to the point where I just feel like I might collapse and then after a few bites, I’m done!
