Re: Morning Sickness
I used to have very bad nausea first 4 months, in 5 and 6 month it got better then started again, i even had after pregnancy for couple of months.
Declectin helped but not in the worst of the nausea.
I didnt cook pretty much my entire pregnancy, I couldnt stand any smell my husband had to stop wearing any kind of perfume (and he uses very subtle perfumes)
So hang in there, it is inconvenient but there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Good luck...
Re: Morning Sickness
I'm 24 weeks and I still have nausea in the morning but its mild - sometimes certain smells still bother me but its no where close to what it used to me.....for me it started to ease off around week 16
Re: Morning Sickness
Afshi, we are! :) I'm sending lots and lots of baby dust your way!
Re: Morning Sickness
In the US a medication called Zofran helps for pregnnacy related nausea. In my first pregnancy I had nausea for 14 weeks and in teh second 22 weeks.
Re: Morning Sickness
Zofran is supposed to be the miracle pill when it comes to nausea, unfortunately it didn't help me at all.
I took Promethezine during two of my pregnancies, which didn't help much either but took the edge off. If your nausea doesn't get better you might want to take a med.
Re: Morning Sickness
I had no morning sickness myself but my friend whose in her 11th week of pregnancy tried these magnetic bracelets from boots and apparently she hardly had any morning sickness..
