Morning Shows and Shift in Culture

Back in 90s or probably earlier than this, when PTV started its morning transmission, it used to be from 7 to 9 a.m. Children getting ready for schools and dragged by mothers to leave TV room (cartoon program) for not getting late.

Now most of the channels show their morning shows from 9 to 11.

Is there any change in people’s habit to sleep till late hours or there is something else behind change of time?

Re: Morning Shows and Shift in Culture

After saas bhau dramas… Morning shows popular among ladies of Pakistan…

I used to watch Mustansar Tarar Sb’s transmission at 7 O’clock…

These new kind of chichory padory shows do not offer instead designer dresses and show off cutlure…

Morning with Farah is pretty decent… :cobra:

Re: Morning Shows and Shift in Culture

so morning shows are now just for stay at home ladies?

Re: Morning Shows and Shift in Culture

The new time is better. Isn't it ?
With kids getting ready for school and husbands getting ready for work 9-11 seems better.

Re: Morning Shows and Shift in Culture

small thoughts? explain :chai:

Re: Morning Shows and Shift in Culture

But do you think these all morning show watching ladies wake up and get prepared their children for schools and husbands for office?

Re: Morning Shows and Shift in Culture

:hmmm:

Re: Morning Shows and Shift in Culture

No problem. No one from life1 visits here. :hehe:

Kia yad dila diya that morning transmission was too good I only remember two segments exercise and cartoons. It's the change in the format of the show. Now the target audience includes aunties who are free in between 9-11 am.

Re: Morning Shows and Shift in Culture

I meant ''chhoti soch"

Re: Morning Shows and Shift in Culture

Why not ?

Re: Morning Shows and Shift in Culture

They are free by 9-11 am or they wake up around this time?

Re: Morning Shows and Shift in Culture

There have been increased dependence for looking after the children on others. Others include parents of the husband or in most cases kaam wali maasiyan.

You want to hear that not only they watch this crap but they are also lazy even to wake up early and help their kids and husbands get ready for school/office? :emmy:

Re: Morning Shows and Shift in Culture

And you are assuming only these ladies watch morning shows ?

Re: Morning Shows and Shift in Culture

Not assuming anything. I just want to know your observation.

Re: Morning Shows and Shift in Culture

I don't live in Pakistan.

But I would personally never sacrifice my sleep over any kind of show. Be it a TV show or a real life show.

Re: Morning Shows and Shift in Culture

You mean to say you will get up after everyone left for office/school? :hayaa:

Well I told you my observation.People I know who keep their TV’s turn on during that time wake up early and prepare breakfast themselves as kaam waalis’s usually come after 11 am in case you don’t know :snooty:
