Please share what a viewer wants to see and doesn’t wants to see in a morning show (though i know no one wants a morning show at all these days) but if we recall the morning show started by Mustansar Tarrar Sb that was the one which was vwatched by all ages, husbands, wives, children, teens, job seekers, news seekers etc. is that kind of show possible these days?
Secondly, do you think a new comer can make his / her place among the current ongoing competition and big name hosts and anchors and can face the pressure? Is having a co=host a good idea?
I will really appreciate your ideas, comments and feedback.

Number 1. Show host (hostess) should learn how to talk less than the guest. Let the guest speak for god sake. Khud hee chapar chapar kiye jaati hain.
2nd thing. you are not Nadia Khan so stop copying her. Nadia was good or bad is another debate but please be unique and develop your own style.
have u seen farrah hussain's show on atv? we don't get ATV in USA but i watch them online. and i think she does the best, old school show with great ethics, none of this rating's game show ADHD morning show.

i have seen farah's one on youtube. indeed she is good. she is pretty, presentable, educated, talks nicely and it is evident. BUT one thing which i dont like is that sometimes she isnot humble. she sounds a bit arrogant (like sheraz agha episode and her hmm hmm shows it too)...i think if there is anything on which she needs to work on is the way she speaks as in bringing more humbleness to her way of talking. but otherwise she is good.

It's weird, I never notice that in her. Intact I think in her interviews the "interviewy's" good side always shows throughout. Sometimes I will see a person's interview on a different show and doesn't get impress at all but when Farrah interviews the same person a different and very good personality shows through. Just my opinion.
Morning shows are fun to watch when all of a sudden you wake up in the morning and realize that your class got cancelled...alag he mood bunjata hai mera toh :D neend na bhi millay phir bhi i am fresh as ever.
what annoys me is that old 35 and or + women talk so much and go over the top like literally talk so much and get so hyper that its unbearable...they should stop doing that. Putting one or two fun things to make the show exciting and watchable is fun but it found it highly irritating and a big turn off when Nadia khan changed her stupid set to even more stupid one i.e. arabian **** and then kept on inviting weird guests according to the theme. A simple fun show with fun and informative show doesn't seem simple at all its fun and watchable but putting **** just to make is unique and all is so unbearable. Cooking, health and beauty and fashion saath mein ek guest is more then enough i guess but khamokhaye putting unnecessary stuff which NKS had was too much and Shahista only invited guests to praise her i guess...i never found her show that appealing. Others i didn't see - i actually liked Marina mornings...

i am not too sure. the thing i dont like with co-hosting is that they interrupt each other a lot. one should let the other person speak first.

not every actor or actress can host...new, intelligent ,witty faces are more than welcome but we really need to analyze whether the person has a potential to host a good program or not...if he/she cant speak one proper sentence without hmm ,aaaa ,you know etc and in his defense he says that in a live program its okay to fumble because it seems natural then thank you we already have quite a few faces like that and we are very bored of them
personally, i dont think addition of a cost host is a good idea because normally it is seen that one person over shadows the other's host personality so no no from me...
ps. i wish fakhr-e-alam does a morning show....he is one fine host ...mature yet entertaining...knows when to act serious and when to act funny.....these morning show girls are too boring :|

Hire actors and actresses as hosts. There are many projects where they can demonstrate their acting skills but morning shows are not one of them.
Invite guests who have been on the 'morning show circuit' i.e. this is the umpteenth morning show they have appeared in the past month or so. One word: overdose.
Copy other hosts, sets and concepts. The aim is to stand out from the rest, not follow their every move...viewers know a a poor imitation when they see one!
Crticise, argue and gossip with guests. It's just pure negativity for early mornings and what goes around comes around. NK are you listening??

Have minimal and sensible sets. The show can look attractive without tents, tinsel and garish bright colours.
Research questions used in an interview. This may seem obvious but it's shocking how many hosts come up with the most predictable stuff.
just watch sonia rehman on 'first blast' and marina khan from 'marina mornings', combine the two and voila! these hosts are cohesive and concise in their approach and speech, not jibbering idiots floudering for words, ask intelligent questions and don't make the show about them, their looks, clothes, jewellery etc. but the important part is will it sell? our public seems to have weird taste, if someone like marina khan had to leave the show for shaista :/
